This two-day forum brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners to share their research outcomes and action plans related to race relations. A critical theme throughout was the importance of community partnerships and collaboration in addressing racism. A key goal of the forum was for participants to strategize ways to move beyond exchanging ideas about the effects of racism, and identify ways their research could be better used by, and disseminated to, the general public. As a result, the forum participants networked and worked to develop long-term strategies aimed at increasing collaboration and partnerships.
