This qualitative/quantitative study examines racial equity within the Edmonton Public, Catholic and Francophone school systems. Findings include a widespread variation in the degree and consequences of discrimination, individual and systemic racism, and culturally inclusive learning environments. The findings derive from focus groups with 133 participants, and identify a number of areas of concern about racial equity.
