This report provides a summary of best practices as well as examples of initiatives in anti-racism education in Canadian cities. Districts have a diverse set of programs, documents and resources, as well as expert staff which the report draws upon and summarizes. The report contains information that is useful for any teacher, administrator, or individual interested in promoting equitable teaching and learning. CFRAC completed the research as part of our work to assist schools in developing action plans tied to their anti-racism policies. The report includes a research summary, literature review for implementing policies, and conclusions on the benefits of anti-racism education as a whole-district initiative.
