Past Training: Program Planning, Reporting, and Evaluation for Community-Based Organizations
Course Description
This workshop focused on three critical activities to deliver a high-quality program – program planning, reporting, and evaluation. We focused on sharing knowledge, skills, tools and strategies on these topics but grounded this discussion in an equity lens. We answered this fundamental question together, “How do community-based organizations stay accountable to serving community members, partners, funders, and colleagues in a way that is equitable and empowering to program participants and yet meets program and organizational requirements?”
We reviewed funding agreements (so participants were confident with terminology and interpretation), ran a mini-workshop on evaluation, and everyone left this workshop with a draft of a program plan that enables them to consider how they will meet funder and community objectives.
