Why choose us?

The Centre for Race and Culture has worked throughout Alberta for over 20 years to address racism in all its forms. We are Alberta’s premier and most active organization that works specifically against racism and towards equity.

Our programs have reached thousands of people–youth, adults, individuals, companies, and organizations–at all levels of society.

We welcome donations in any amount, on a one-time or recurring basis. A $25 donation qualifies you for an annual membership, and entitles you to vote at our AGM (held in June of each year). A donation of $200 qualifies you for a lifetime membership.

How will your support be used to make a difference?

Your support will help us make a difference as we continue our current work and develop new programs to meet our communities’ changing needs.

Your donation will help to:

Educate youth on social justice, anti-racism, and conflict transformation while teaching them how to teach their peers 
Equip adults with strategies and tools to deal with racism and discrimination in their lives and workplaces
Develop important resources to help create more equitable learning environments for our children
Provide professional development for adults on the effective management of our increasingly diverse workplaces
Provide public education to increase understanding on the immigrant and refugee experience of many Canadians
Host community events that work to spark change in Albertans
