Policies guide the day-to-day activities and decision-making of an organization, and are important tools to further your goals of inclusion. Conducting a policy review is a good way to determine if policies are missing or may need to be adapted in the quest for creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace. This workshop is designed for staff who are responsible for writing and reviewing policies within the organization. We will provide an opportunity for participants to begin reviewing some of their own organizational policies through an inclusion lens to assess strengths and gaps in policy. The facilitators will support participants in developing an organizational inclusion policy if one does not already exist.
