Understanding Newcomer Experiences of Inclusion is a two-year research project which is being carried out by the Centre for Race and Culture since July 2019. This project examines the connection between newcomers’ experiences of settlement, integration and inclusion, and their well-being. As part of this project, we are working closely with community organizations and agencies to reach diverse newcomer populations.
Please join us for our free webinar, where we will provide an update on the project so far, an overview of our preliminary data and findings, and our next steps. We will also discuss the changes we are implementing to continue with our qualitative data collection, such as focus groups and interviews. As the current COVID-19 pandemic has changed all our lives in drastic ways, we would like to re-connect with our community partners through this webinar, and to share our early findings with you. We are looking forward to seeing you at this event!
We would like to use this opportunity to thank our funders at both Alberta Labour and REACH Edmonton for making this project and webinar possible.
* Registrants will receive the webinar link a few hours prior to the event.
